1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Chord Legend mobile application (the "App"), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to download and use the Chord Legend App for personal, non-commercial use only. Under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the app or its materials
• Use the app for any commercial purpose or public display
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notations
• Sell, transfer, or offer the app for sale
• Use the app to build competing products or services
• Access the app through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.)

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content in the Chord Legend App, including but not limited to music, graphics, text, code, and design, is the intellectual property of the app developers. All rights are reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without explicit written permission.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Chord Legend offers optional subscription plans to unlock premium features:

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store using your Apple ID
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled in your Apple Account settings
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple Account
• All payments are processed securely by Apple. See Apple's terms for payment policies
• Refunds are subject to Apple App Store's refund policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App in any way that:

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringes on the rights of others
• Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Circumvents security measures or access controls
• Overloads the app or its infrastructure
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

6. App Updates and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any features at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such changes. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

7. Disclaimer

The Chord Legend App is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and disclaim all other warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property rights. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

8. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Chord Legend App, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple App Store and Apple StoreKit for subscriptions and payments. Your use of these services is governed by Apple's terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services. See Apple's privacy and terms for details.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the App, or your violation of any applicable laws.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time without notice. By using the App, you agree to be bound by the then current version of these Terms. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the app is provided, excluding its conflict of law provisions. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location for any disputes.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if that is not possible, it shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
